Useful resources on the internet for musicians:

The Royal Conservatory Music Development Program provides a recognized national standard of success through an effectively sequenced course of study from beginner to advanced levels. The program inspires excellence through individual progress in relation to others across the country.

Excellence, achievement, motivation, performance, recognition- these are only a few of the positive results that students gain through participation in The Royal Conservatory Music Development Program.

Performance and academic assessments are conducted at the University of Utah twice a year. A performance assessment evaluates a student’s demonstration of repertoire, studies/etudes, technical, and musicianship skills- in other words, a student’s practical proficiency with music. An academic assessment evaluates a student’s understanding of theory, harmony, counterpoint, analysis, and music history.

The study of these subjects plays an essential role in developing musicianship and performance skills. The Royal Conservatory Music Development Program allows students to measure and celebrate accomplishment and track their progress across the country.
